The heartbeat of Ascent is to connect the orthodox, globally minded, missionally engaged Christian community around the call of the Great Commission. Among the cultural and ecclesial fragmentation of our current moment, we know the Holy Spirit to be stitching together a new movement. We are composed of local congregations, regional denominational families, national ministry networks and communions, mission agencies, non-profit ministries, and theological institutions.

We love walking with families of churches who want to be part of something bigger for the sake of the kingdom. We aim to create economies of scale and causes of shared purpose where we can do more together. Here are some of our current associations and networks.

The Body of Christ is expansive and the task of mission is immense.  In addition to the direct, front-line work that churches, mission-agencies, and ministries carry forward, a number of support ministries that provide helpful and efficient tools to support ministries and leaders have joined in the Ascent partnership. 

Seminary & Theological Education Network

The Church in North America requires a deep well for theological education and the flexibility of creating pathways for leadership preparation in innovative ways.  We are proud to have a growing number of affiliated and cooperating seminaries and theological institutions part of the Ascent Movement.  Many offer discounts and particular benefits for Ascent affiliated churches and leaders.
